Quote from Chris Barron

I don't think this qoute will make the NYT story about NEXT but I think you'll enjoy it anyway. Thanks Mr Barron for your very kind words.

to whom it may concern,

in this increasingly automated, corporate, formatted world the importance of the old school dj cannot be understated. would that we could return to the days when dj's offered up to the world their discoveries in the wide shores of musical endeavor helping the public to find music they liked and giving unknown artists the chance to break out in one station or another instead of facing one unified, insurmountable wall of big business at radio.

interesting, informative and uplifting, dj's like chris bro are, unfortunately, an endangered species. this tottering and ailing world needs every source of inspiration it can get. deep in the wires and transistors of every radio sleeps the embers of revelation waiting to be gasolined by a dj and a pair of ears.
