Fleet Foxes & Supergrass have an argument for being on that list, albiet probably not top 10 by the end of the year.

The Whigs should be higher.

Where are The Black Keys and Gnarls?

See one guy can't do it all. Thanks kind and lovely readers.

Gnarls and The Black Keys will get up there. I will fix those.

Supergrass does have the best song of the year so far but the whole cd? You're probably right. They will make the list. Just not top ten.

The Whigs. I will have to listen again. Sometimes I forget how lovely a cd is...I am always looking forward.

Good start and Thanks again. Anyone else?

Oh and I just got the Fleet Foxes. It might take awhile to digest. Thanks HM.

I will agree with Fleet Foxes.

all right... I'll get them on the bloody list.

anybody else I need on the list?

Really smart list. I might tweak here and there, like bring Death Cab up a bit. But strong choices nonetheless. Thanks.

I do love the DCFC and by no means am I afraid to tweak. Don't be surprised if the next time I update this list (hopefully soon) "Narrow Stairs" is up a notch or 5.

Thanks for the comment.

I know it came out on January 1, but Radiohead "In Rainbows" shouldn't be forgotten about as we close out 2008. It's an incredibly strong album that I keep coming back to every few weeks. That's only true also of DCFC's "Narrow Stairs" - which belongs with "In Rainbows" in the top 10 of '08. Keep in mind we're rating full CD's here and not just singles.

Others albums you neglected to include on your extended list: Sigur Ros "Med Sud I Eyrum Vid Spilum Endalaust", Sia "Some People Have Real Problems", Sonny J "Disastro" and Passenger "Wicked Man's Rest".
