What is it December? Not much happening this week with regards to New Releases. There are a few you should be listening to and for.
Greg Laswell - How The Day Sounds (EP)
Yes it's an EP but did I mention the slow week? This EP is for those of you who are thinking "where the hell is Coldplay?" Well throw this EP on and I am sure someone will ask you how you got the Coldplay leak--it's close enough and most people don't listen that close. You might also remember this is the guy that recorded that great slow burning version of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun".
Shawn Mullins - Honeydew
Another great LP by this guy. He doesn't stray too far so if you have liked anything in past you'll find much more to like in this full length too. There are quite a few extremely strong tracks.
I wasn't sure about including a Best of so I will mention that The Vines just released one. They always were a singles band although I've felt that "Highly Evolved" Should get more love. Post grunge of the finest form.
The Presidents of the United States just released an album that sounds like it was just a "lost album" from 1995. Nothing too special but if you're a fan check it out.
