I am not a shadow--I am flesh and blood

Thanks to Tom Petty and his song "yer so bad" for the title of the last post.

More help from Helper Monkey. You are a good man

Woo and Hoo. PJ is back. and this one is way super cool--the internet archive. Some good acts. I have yet to download any but let me know how is it. All shows are SHN too. Thank you so very much HM!!

Spoon. Spoon. New Spoon. An MP3 from Spoon's soon to be released Gimme Fiction. This is "Two Sides..." Oh why not one more I just found. "My Mathematical Mind."

Superman is a dick.

Science breaks down the "hook" in songs. Why tunes get stuck in your head.

More Woo and Hoo. New solo Bob Mould. Sounds like a welcomed return to his acoustic days and if you know his acoustic days this should make you smile. So smile.

Mp3 from Anders Parker "So it Goes" Not bad let me know what you think.

This is a cool idea for an interview. Play a bunch of songs from other artists and see how that artist feels about the tune. It springboards into other areas as well. This one is pretty good.

U2 front man Bono launched a clothing company with theintent of providing sustainable employment toempoverished third-world countries.
Bono's Edun label features a line of jeans, jacketsand dresses. Bono dreamed up the notion of a sociallyconscious fashion label, and launched it with his wifeAli Hewson as a systematic effort to promote trade inAfrica. New Releases Today: Not too much to get excited about. I think next week is better. Kaiser Chiefs is suppose to be pretty good.

Daft Punk
Human After All Virgin
Written and recorded in just six weeks, Daft Punk's long-awaited third album Human After All discards the lush, eclectic pop of Discovery in favor of a stripped-down, repetitive sound. This approach may divide fans, but the album's best tracks show that the duo can still make taking chances work for them.
Club/Dance, House, Left-Field House

The Reverend Al Green
Everything's OK Blue Note
Al Green's excellent 2003 comeback album I Can't Stop wasn't just a one-off return to glory for the soul superstar as Everything's OK proves that Green is back to stay. Working again with long-time producer Willie Mitchell, he has crafted a gem of an album loaded with all the things that made him great so long ago — bubbling rhythms, uplifting melodies and above all, Green's age and gravity-defying vocals.

The Soundtrack of Our Lives
Origin, Vol. 1 WEA
International Swedish rockers The Soundtrack of Our Lives (TSOOL) dig deep on Origin Vol. 1, and come up with a delightful paradox of an album. The band has mined the vein of its collective musical past and has issued the most ambitious recording of its career. Influences ranging from the Beatles to the Stooges find their way into these songs, yet are carefully crafted inside TSOOL's tight, artfully articulated songcraft, which combines sonic crunch, elemental hooks and incisively revealing lyrics.
