Just a day closer to dying

Tomorrow night should be fun. Going to See Death Cab for Cutie. Ted Leo is opening and can't wait to see him as I haven't seen him yet.

Led Zeppelin says no to The D for Pick of Destiny. At least they waited until after shooting. That was nice of them.

File this under WTF? Walken to Play Ozzy. and more WTF Def Def Leppard. Hip Hop covers of yes Def Leppard.

PR reports:
The String Cheese Incident posted an announcement on their website on Friday, November 3, 2006. The post reads:
After summer 2007, Billy Nershi is leaving The String Cheese Incident to pursue other musical projects. There will be only a limited number of Incidents between now and then. Current plans include Thanksgiving in Atlanta, a New Years Eve blowout in San Francisco, Winter Carnival in Colorado, and a return to Red Rocks. Presently, there are no plans for The String Cheese Incident beyond summer of 2007. The band would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our friends and fans for all your support

New Norah Jones in Jan.

PR reports:
Neil Young & Crazy Horse's concerts on March 6th and 7th, 1970 at New York's Fillmore East have been the subject of legend for decades. The nights featured Young with the original lineup of Crazy Horse: Danny Whitten (guitar, vocals), Ralph Molina (drums, vocals), Billy Talbot (bass) and Jack Nitzsche (electric piano), performing at the very peak of their powers. Those two nights are among the only officially recorded shows of the band with these members, and as the debut release of the Neil Young Archives Performance Series, the album Live At The Fillmore East will be available November 14, 2006 on Reprise Records.

I gotta hit you with a YouTube. A great live version of The Police doing So Lonely.

More later

I had tickets to DCFC on Wed also, but with the rain and whatnot, I didnt end up going. So I've never seen them, ah well.
Hope it was a good show.

it was good but I've seen them better. Next time brave the rain and I'll buy you a beer. They are almost "punky" live. You will be surprised at how "lively" they sound. Chris Walla is no Eddie Van Halen but he rips it up live.
