Good to be back

Thanks HM for the post.

Bongos rock man. Just try to keep up.

The amen break. I love the record player. It's a long piece (and the reading by Nate doesn't help) but the info is pretty damn cool.

More on Google's music download future.

According to a posting at their website, www.judaspriest.com, Judas Priest are creating their first conceptual album based upon the life and predictions of Nostradamus.
According to a quote from the site, "This album will be theatrically staged and performed in its entirity as an epic musical by Judas Priest! More news later!!" and of course after hearing this you just knew this was going to happen.
MTV.com is reporting that QUEENSRŸCHE's 1988 conceptual masterpiece, "Operation: Mindcrime", will be getting the big-screen treatment, according to frontman Geoff Tate. He said the band has hired a screenwriter to adapt the LP into a feature film, and that they're in the midst of shopping it to Hollywood studios

The Tripwire reports:
2005's most celebrated artist, Sufjan Stevens, will release The Avalanche: Outtakes And Extras From The Illinois Album on July 25 through Asthmatic Kitty Records.
Apparently, Illinois was initially intended for release as a double album with a total of about 50 songs being written for inclusion. As the project developed however, the decision was made to cut it in half and release Illinois as a single CD.
