Pixies to Play First-Ever Acoustic Gig
The Pixies are going unplugged. The alt-rock iconswill play the first acoustic set in their history atthe Newport Folk Festival Aug. 6. No set listing hasbeen revealed, but fans can probably bet that, true toform, the band will record and release the set as analbum of its own.
The act sold recordings of each show it played on lastyear’s reunion tour, as well as developing plans for apair of DVDs chronicling the tour.
