Next Week 36...well really 38 sorry

Next is a new music show brought you by Snapple. You can listen to it tonight at 11 at 1071thepeak.com. If you miss it tonight catch the rebroadcast on Sunday nights at 8.

Next Week 36 on 107.1 The Peak

People in Planes – Falling By the Wayside (As Far As the Eye Can See)
Lovers of REM and Radiohead listen up. Not a full on rocker but you’ll be tapping your feet and bobbing your head.

Red Hot Chili Peppers – Funny Face (Snow Hey Oh EP)
Space Mountain has been renamed 'Rockin' Space Mountain' and will feature the sounds of the Chili Peppers' cover of Stevie Wonder's 'Higher Ground.' Meanwhile, on 'Rockin California Screaming' will hear the Chili's 1999 smash 'Around The World' throughout their four minute journey.

Bishop Allen – A Tiny Fold (May EP)
Brooklyn’s own took on the ambitious year-long project, in which they set out to self-release an EP of original music every month in 2006. Actually we are still waiting for November and December. Not too bad and a gem or two on every EP too.

Dada – 72 Hours (A Friend of Pat Robertson EP)
As a band they have been around since 1992’s debut Puzzle. This is a teaser EP as the their sixth cd will soon be released and rumor has it they are also getting ready another live CD too.

Beth Orton and M Ward – Buckets of Rain (Heart of Soul B side cover of Bob Dylan)
Great version of one the greatest Bob Dylan tunes. Love the interplay between the two voices.

Dirty on Purpose – Light Pollution (Hallelujah Sirens)
Dirty on Purpose are a dreamy four-piece living in Brooklyn, NY, but born and raised in small towns in Pennsylvania, Vermont, Massachusetts and Virginia.

The Damnwells – I Am A Leaver (Air Stereo)
All over Brooklyn this week. If you were a big fan of say Toad the wet spocket or Gin Blossom way back when then I bet this release would make you smile.

Griffin House – The Guy That Says Goodbye to You Is Out of His Mind (Homecoming)
From Ohio and only 25. Big things in future for this lad.

Sloan – Fading Into Obscurity (Never Hear the End of It)
One of my all time favorite Canadian Bands

Arcade Fire – Intervention (single)
We hit Brooklyn three time why not North of the Border twice. New Cd Neon Bible due in the Spring time.

Shack – Black and White (The Corner of Miles and Gil)
From the UK and have been around for about 20 years.

More later
Bro
