A nice day to rake leaves then jump in them
World's Shortest and Best Fairy Tale:
Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl "Will you marry me?"
The girl said "NO!"
And the guy lived happily ever after, went fishing and hunting a lot, and drank beer whenever he wanted.
THE END
I am unable to keep my lunch down. Now I love money as much as the next but c'mon this is terrible. 45 million an hour. Exxon aren't the only bastards out there. Shell. Chevron. ConocoPhillips. and yes there are more but I don't have the time to list them all. Maybe we should think about getting away from Fossil Fuels?
And to get you ready for tomorrow. Happy Halloween. Remember timing is everything.
Top earning Dead Celebs.
PG to put together Opening for World Cup.
If you have read this blog at all you know I am a MusicHead. I love KEXP and that is my dream job. No playlist. I pick what I play. Many years ago I did have that and it was amazing. I truly miss those days. Maybe radio will change? Yeah right Bro-- Hell even Satellite is playlisted and they aren't even live most of the time either (it's called Voice Tracking or here and it happens everywhere...I bet your favorite station does it. The way it happens is the dj records "the breaks" on a computer then plugs it into the machine to play at a later time.). It is a sad time for music lovers indeed. Anyway this is another article on how cool KEXP is.

New Marley song on new greatest hits collection. It's a song with Eric Clapton too. It's called "Slogans". More on the new tune from Bob. Bob Marley Hates me and you probably.
How much would you pay for a lunch box designed by Micheal Stipe of REM. If you said 19,000 Pounds (which if my math is correct is about 30,000 US dollars) you would have been outbid by Chris Martin of Coldplay. There may be a few left at lunchboxauction.org.
this a bummer...the Special Big Lebowski DVD isn't too special.
If, like me, you have Mix Tapes. Yes Mix Tapes then you might just want to check this out. Plusdeck. They have developed a dashboard style tapedeck that connects to your computer and you can transfer the tape to MP3.

She started shaking to that Fine Fine Music--You know her life was saved by Rock and Roll
8 days without a computer. Holy Christ on a Cracker. That is way too long. Hi my name is Chris and I'm addicted to the internets. Seriously I was ready to go off on someone. Plus I do play fantasy football and I couldn't check up on any details. Not that it matter much this year. I have the same record as the Bears. Not good unless you are in the real NFC Central.
Have I told you lately that I am really into the latest from Supergrass. It would make for a great soundtrack to getting your drunk on late into the night. Actually I take that back it would be good for the afterparty to getting your drunk on. You don't want the night to end so invite a few "new" friends back to your place for "just one more". Yeah it's got that kinda feel to it.
What I am saying it that me likey.
have you seen these. Way cool. Way cute. and way powerful. The MobiBlu. and more from ubergizmo.
remember the Kids in the Hall. Preview a few skits here. I'll squash your head!
30 Helens agree that previews are better than nothing. Season two here.
And this is for the Chicago readers. The Sears Tower in Jenga blocks. Also go Bears. 2-3 and in First place. Here come the playoffs.
Beer Pong Championship. If you win, you win. If you lose you are still drunk. It's a win-win situation. and further beer info. The Beerdrinker of the Year. Naught I might sign you up. Or maybe we should get a Fantasy Team together.
File under...I am not sure where to file this. I hope under bloody brillant. Mike Myers to play Keith Moon--the drummer of the Who-- in a movie.
remember Faith No More? Well the guitarist now grows pumpkins. Big Ones.

Led Jam/Pearl Zeppelin Rock The House Of Blues
I made it in!
It didn't look like it for awhile, then an opening happened and we made our move. I shared a backstage elevator w/ Eddie's girlfriend and new baby...she is quite a babe, a model I hear. We went through the backstage area and onto the main floor..it was very cool.
A big thank you goes out to my two friends who got me in. They both had to run the video equiptment as the show was being recorded for HOB. They shall remain nameless in the unlikely event that some HOB related person reads this. I just stayed by them the whole night in the center of the main floor, great view. Robert Plant was in fine form, he still has that voice and his new stuff was pretty good, and of course he nailed the Zeppelin classics.
Pearl Jam came on around 10pm and played till 1:10 am. They were in good spirits and thanked everyone for donating (not me!). But I wasn't a complete freeloader..I bought those guys beer all night as a thank you and picked up a shirt whose $ was going completely to the relief cause.
Pearl Jam's set was tight, heavy on the hits, no doubt because they wanted to make the not-usual crowd happy. Highlights included memorable verions of "Grievance" "Porch" and the rare "Hard To Imagine". At the 2nd encore, Robert Plant comes out with his guitarists and they segaway from "Given To Fly" into "Going To California", his band leaves and then it's Pearl Zeppelin, or Led Jam. Eddie and Robert doing a couple of 50's covers "Little Sister" & "Money (That's what I want)" followed by "Fool in the Rain" and "Thank You". It was an amazing thing to witness . At the end with the house lights on, they did "Rockin' In The Free World" with Plant on guitar.
It was surreal concert experience.
Set list:
Love Boat Captain, Grievance, Do The Evolution, Even Flow, Dissident, Small Town, Corduroy, Green Disease, Daughter, 1/2 Full, I Am Mine, Better Man, Black, Alive, Save You, Porch
1st encore:
Man of the Hour, Hard to Imagine, I Got Shit, Rearviewmirror
2nd encore:
Given To Fly/Going To California (by Led Zeppelin) w/ Robert Plant and Strange Sensation, Little Sister w/ Robert Plant, Money That's What I want w/ Robert Plant, Fool In The Rain (by Led Zeppelin) w/ Robert Plant, Thank You (by Led Zeppelin) w/ Robert Plant
3rd encore:
Rockin' in the Free World w/ Robert Plant on Guitar
