When they said sit down--I stood up

the last title was from Ryan Adams' "Oh My Sweet Carolina"

Star Wars--kinda.

Legendary rock trio Cream --drummer Ginger Baker, bassist Jack Bruce and guitarist Eric Clapton--will reunite for a four-night run at London's Royal Albert Hall on May 2, 3, 5 and 6. The venue is the site of the group's final performance in 1968, according to a band announcement.

Day in Rock reports: Death Cab for Cuties frontman Ben Gibbard will be playing a benefit show in San Francisco on January 28 with Mark Kozelek and Eric Bachmann at the Great American Music Hall. All proceeds will be donated to the Save The Children Foundation.
The band also just wrapped up a major cross-country headlining tour and will soon take a short break before beginning work on their next album. In the meantime, an upcoming live EP is set to arrive in early spring on Barsuk Records.
