Clinic – Harvest Within You (Visitations)
The act's Visitations, which hit stores in the United Kingdom in October, will see release in North America Jan. 23, and the act's hoping to make its delayed release worth the wait. The CD version of the album will contain two still unnamed bonus tracks and be packaged in a hardbook case, while vinyl fans will get a poster, though no bonus cuts, for their patience.
Stanton Moore – Poison Pushy
He like a few other drummers started banging on his mother’s pots, pans and tuperware. One project can satisfy him so he has drummed for Galactic, Garage A Trois and solo projects. For his third solo album (he’s also recorded six with Galactic and three with Garage a Trois), and is working on a new Galactic cd as we speak.

Jennifer's career began in Atlanta, where after college she joined Violet, a band compared to X and the Pixies. She started playing solo after quitting Violet and moving to NYC.
Jennifer released her debut EP, Truth Love Work, in 2000. Solo cd number three.
Emmylou Harris and Mark Knopfler – Why Worry (Real Love Roadrunning)
Dire Straits leader Knopfler and country thrush Harris teamed up earlier this year for the studio offering All the Roadrunning, and several tracks from that album resurface in similar arrangements on this live CD/DVD set. The rest is made up of tunes from Harris and Knopfler's past
Yusuf Islam - I Think I See The Light (An Other Cup)

The Strollers – Into the Dark
After calling it quits in 2001 after only 2 full length cds the band decided to get back together for a few gigs. That was supposed to be it. Well that has lead to more gigging and the recording of three new songs. They are from Sweden and started out as a Chuck Berry cover band.

I need to check out the new damien rice... something tells me that we probably have it at the radio station. bipolar music isn't all that bad. I mean just ask morrissey about that!
as for Nouvelle Vague, they are clever, humorous and good all at the same time. i have their cover of the undertones' teenage kicks. I have to smile about your selection of their cover of killing moon. I almost played the original today on my show. Now I kinda wished I did so it could be like one of those moments of "woah, great minds think a like" but we already knew that one!

I will have to say if you loved the first D Rice this one might...that a bit of time to grow on you.
I love me my Killing Moon and think that one of the best movie/music moments is the use of the tune in Donnie Darko.
i totally agree with you on the whole donnie darko bit. however, i own the director's cut and instead of killing moon being used in the beginning, they use inxs' never tear us apart. it makes the intro bit quite different and haunting. they use killing moon for another part of the movie, but it works really well.
