has been announced for August 4th through 6th at Grant Park in Chicago. Perry and co are pulling out all the stops this year with 130 bands on 8 stages. This year's eclectic bunch includes the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kanye West, Queens of the Stone Age, Wilco, Sonic Youth, Blues Traveler, The New Pornographers, Eels, The Shins, Ryan Adams, The Flaming Lips, Sparta, Andrew Bird, and hundred plus more.
If the music wasn't enuff, Perry is bringing back Mindfield where the entire festival grounds will become the game board for the text messaging "prankster and scavenger hunt" game.
Tickets are already on sale and you can catch all three days for $130 bucks. So you can see the following bands for a buck each.
